Wangaratta Masters Swimming

 

About Us

Wangaratta Masters Swimming are a group of people of all ages over 18 who share a love of swimming.  We come from all walks of life and have a wide range of swimming abilities and experience. 

Wangaratta Masters provide a welcoming and inclusive environment to get fit, improve your swimming and have fun.  We offer regular training sessions, social events, and pool and open water competitions – your level of participation is totally up to you! 

We train at the Wangaratta Sports & Aquatic Centre, in the indoor 25m pool during winter and the outdoor heated 50m pool when it is open (usually September to April).

Wangaratta Masters are affiliated with the Wangaratta Amateur Swimming Club, Masters Swimming Australia and Masters Swimming Victoria.

 

Sessions

Wangaratta Masters swimmers are welcome to participate in any of the sessions below:

Registered MSA swimmers are also welcome to train in their own time and participate as part of the Wangaratta Masters Team at events, and/or attend social functions.

Wangaratta Masters offer three sessions free to come and try before fees apply. All swimmers must have Masters Swimming registration following their first three sessions, this ensures you are covered by insurance when participating.

Competitions and Events

As members of Masters Swimming Australia, Wangaratta Masters swimmers have the opportunity to swim in pool and open water events if they wish. 

These events are inclusive, friendly and fun, but are certainly not compulsory!

Social events

Wangaratta Masters Swimmers catch up for Coffee every Saturday after training, and have a monthly pub dinner first Wednesday of each month after training (commencing 3 April 2024).

Wangaratta Masters Member benefits:
